Keyboard Kouture
Technology is no longer simply about usability or convenience, it has become an everyday accessory. We carry it with us while it holds all our personal information in the form of data. Like looking into an individual's purse, a lot can be gathered about a person within the data being collected through their personal technologies.

Self Portrait Series-Homage to Dylan Roscover (poems by rupi kaur)
Inspired by the iconic piece done by Dylan Roscover, I created a pathway made of poetry going across half of my face. The poetry is written by Rupi Kaur who, like me, is a young American-Indian. The poetry contains experiences and emotions I relate to as a female person of color.

Pocket Sized
Constructed and bound by hand, Pocket Sized is a book made entirely out of wood and denim. One of my first attempts at binding books, I wanted to challenge myself with an unconventional material for the cover. Inspired by/ a play on pocket sized books.

Broken Allegations
This past year, hundreds of women have stepped up, and voiced their experiences regarding sexual harassment. Shockingly, many of these brave women come from huge corporations and businesses such as Hollywood and The Olympics. Most recall these incidents happening over the range of many many years, but never having the support of others believing in their story to vocalize their abuse. This piece depicts the cruel treatment thousands of women face, some in the most unlikely places. With the buildings breaking apart the face of this female, the power of large companies to keep women silent is shown. In the background, the number 321,500, which is how many women are sexually assaulted every year, is repeated creating a texture behind the face of someone who has been broken down.

Star Crossed
Screen printed t-shirt design. The process included creating the design through adobe illustrator, preparing/burning a screen used for screen printing, and the steps of screen printing itself. I was able to go from visualizing an illustration to physically having people and myself wear my work.
Medium: Screen printing on black shirt.
